Some of my stories contain violence against both men and women. As any survivor of abuse can attest to, violence in all its forms (physical, mental, and emotional) affects the lives of its victims and their loved ones in a profound manner.
The plights of my characters touch on social issues such as bullying, social discrimination, cultural discrimination and racial discrimination and, even, intra-racial discrimination.
My intent is not to offend the reader, but to provide a new perspective from which to view society. It has taken the collective will of countless men and women who bravely fought to incrementally improve society. One at a time, generations of the nameless found the inner strength to stand up for individual rights and values and provide us with the freedoms we have today. I hope my words can honour their courage and sacrifices and allow me a small avenue by which to continue their campaign.
